Eduardo Felipe Navarrete Ferreira

Experience the Essence of Tattoo Art
Ed grew up in a small town in Chile, where tattoos were not common and developed an early love for drawing, often using his own skin as a canvas for intricate pen designs. This creative outlet became a way to express himself, impressing classmates who encouraged him to pursue tattooing professionally.
In 2014, Ed moved to study at university, where his fascination with tattoos deepened. Despite coming from a country where art was not widely valued, he was determined to turn his passion into a career. His journey took him from self-teaching in 2017 to honing his skills and eventually working at Zealand Tattoo. Ed is known for his mastery in fine-line work, dotwork, and delicate details, and cultivated a diverse portfolio that also includes bold lines, American traditional tattoos, and large, full-color pieces. Recently, he's been exploring traditional Japanese tattoo designs, alongside his growing interest in realism.
With an eye for intricate artistry, Ed has become a respected figure in the tattoo industry, building a comfortable life through his craft and earning a reputation for his artistic precision and creativity. Outside of tattooing, Ed is a qualified geologist with a passion for science. Having studied geology for five years at university, he remains deeply interested in contributing to the development of communities in this field. However, his heart remains in tattooing, where he continues to refine his craft and push the boundaries of artistic expression.

I came here to get a piece that tells the story of my holiday and travels through New Zealand and Inkee did such an amazing job and was so chill. Next time I'm in the country I'll be coming back here to add to the piece.

The Christchurch branch tattooed a replica of my back scar onto my wrist 18 months ago. They fit me in within the hour! The tattoo hasn't faded and is still perfectly visible. I'm very happy with their work.
